In the video below, Mitsubishi shows off 3D video prototype technology, which uses 16 cameras to allow the viewer to see a range of 16 different views from a single position.  This process creates an impression of a three-dimensional image without the need for 3D glasses.

Hyundai 3D TV

Hyundai has introduced a stereoscopic TV in Japan, which is currently on sale for ¥498,000 (about $4,857).

The set features:

  • 46″ LCD Screen
  • 2 HDMI Inputs
  • 3 Component Inputs
  • 1920 x 1080 Resolution
  • Requires 3D Glasses (2 Included)
