About 3D TV

3D TV (without the glasses) is almost a reality.  It is only a matter of time before we begin to see true consumer 3D TV models available for home use.  Some experts believe we will see the technology on store shelves and over the airways within the next couple of years.

While HDTV has taken the home entertainment industry by storm over the past several years, 3D TV will bring a bigger change to viewers than HDTV, or even color TV, ever thought about.  Three-dimensional video has been around for decades.  Only recently, however, has the potential for 3D video without the use of those silly glasses become a reality.

A number of content providers, camera makers, production companies and others are working on streamlining the process of delivering 3D content into our homes on shiny new 3D displays.
