After watching the Super Bowl 3D special last night and didn’t really think it was that great. I got the best 3D effect from the Chuck preview. After 15 minutes of watching the show tonight, I think NBC has done a good job with the 3D effects. Additionally, it’s watchable for viewers not wearing 3D glasses.
The combination of HD and 3D is pretty solid for a prime time TV. I can see this catching on with a network show next season. Now, I’mnot saying it would get renewed, but there’s a niche potential here to get out in front of the curve. Kudos to NBC for taking the first step.
